Franks Donuts in Georgetown

Absolutely amazing and fresh Donuts. The customer service was spectacular too. They are willing to add cream or jelly fill plan donuts. Helpful and friendly staff. The ONLY place I will ever get donuts.

I heard a lot about how good these were. Service was great, but the donuts were so so. I ordered a bear claw. I would expect a pastry covered with almonds and filled with almond paste. This one was more like an apple-filled donut with crunchiest on it. It tasted good, but it wasn’t a bear claw. The other items were fine , but not much different than other donut shops. Best one was the fudge-covered chocolate cake donut. Nice thing is they have a drive-thru!

It's only drive through for now but it's worth the 10/15 minute wait .great people working there with mask and gloves for customers safety. Prices are very reasonable.

I can't say enough good things about Frank's. I lived in Lexington for 3 years while attending UK, and would always drive up on the weekends for a couple of glazed donuts. They were always busy but the staff was nice and quick. These are by far my favorite donuts I've ever had.

Fresh donuts made daily, the workers are always nice and pleasant. The prices are more than fair.

Our family discovered this gem of a bakery during our vacation to KY. VERY affordable and delicious. You can't beat a dozen glazed donuts for less than $7! The second time we went, we arrived as they were putting WARM glazed donuts on the rack. OH MY GOODNESS! We're they ever DELICIOUS! BETTER than Krispy Kreme!

Frank's is the best! They are always packed with people but still manage to get you in and out in a hurry. The selection is great and the prices are reasonable. The blueberry cake is my favorite, but you really can't make a bad decision here.

I stopped by the Georgetown KY location at 5 in the morning on the 16th of July and these were the worst doughnutsI ever had. I have been to alot of doughnut shops big and small and have never seen someone cut a doubt in half to put in cream filling. The taste of the chocolate cake doughnut left a bad bitter aftertaste in my mouth. The chocolate crueller was so crunchy that it was like eating a chip. We threw them in the trash. My wife wouldn't even take them to work they were so bad. Well that's 10 dollars for a dozen that went into the trash.

I came early on a Saturday they messed my order up, and on top of that the donuts weren’t fresh. I called and all the manager Tony said was sorry after I explained I couldn’t leave work to bring them back. Poor customer service all around on this trip.

You won't find better donuts anywhere! They're always light and fluffy and have a slight vanilla taste to them that takes the taste to the next level! Product moves so fast that your donuts are always warm. I've never had a gold donut or a bad experience from Frank's. I would drive out of my way to work in Lexington when I lived in Richmond to get Frank's donuts for the office. They're that good!

Donuts are great. There fresh and taste good but there always a wait whitch is not a bad thing. Just grow up here mikes will always be my first choice.

14.00 for a dozen... I'm fine with that if the donuts are actually good... The filled donuts, had maybe a dime size of filling.. So so dry.. also ordered coffee, they did not give to me. Will never return, I should have never went there.. I always go to Mike's donuts, I should have known...

The only reason this place doesn't get 1 star is because of the cheap prices. The first thing I hear when I pull up through the drive through is "we only have glazed and chocolate"... ok? So 80% of the posted menu is irrelevant? The donuts were overly hot and soggy like they'd just been deep fried then stuck in a microwave. Pretty weird flavor also. I won't be back to this place.

Only place you should get donuts while in Georgetown. Great family ran business that does a great job making the donuts.

Awesome place! Hot fresh donoughts whenever you go. Friendly staff and a large selection to choose from. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy there if you choose. I enjoy seeing parents and their kids sitting at the tables enjoying great pastries before school.

Excellent donuts. They truly are the best in town. The staff has always been friendly to me. The best time to go is early in the morning when you can get hot donuts. The isn't much that's better than a warm glazed doenut.

We’re a year into living in Georgetown from Chicago. First time trying Franks Donuts was at 5:00 am yesterday morning! We loved every single donut. My Husband bought a dozen and our children wanted more than one! Nice, sweet, soft treat to have!! I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you.

Best donuts in the area! The apple fritter is absolutely the best I've ever been able to find ANYWHERE (and I am a truck driver traveling the 48 states and Canada)!! However, good luck getting one 😏.... apparently they are very popular. They sure sell out quickly. This place is definitely worth your time!

Love these doughnuts

I've had their donuts several times now and have enjoyed how fresh they are everytime. They are the perfect ratio of light and sweet without being dry or overbearing. Every donut I've tried thus far has been really, really good and I dont even like donuts all that much. I will definitely go there several more times in the months to come.
